Ohhhhh baby, Raspberry Twist vodka and Pepsi is heaven in a glass. And hell in my tummy! Haha. That shit hit me harder than I thought it would but we didn't go home til I was completely OK. Not to mention that I drove like an old lady...just to be safe cuz it was rainin...and my hoopty probably can't take curves on wet roads goin more than 50, haha.

Last night was jokes. We talked more than we watched the movie so I dunno why we even bothered puttin it on. Good times.

I should go dry my hair. I'm bein told we're goin out to dinner with L's school homies so I gotta get ready. I had somethin else to say but I don't remember what it is. I've said that to to every person I know at least once at some point in life :P

I got to sleep in today til almost 3! Yeah I was severely lackin in the sleep so I passed out pretty quick and made up the hrs today :P Esp cuz the roof guys didn't come cuz it was rainin.

I really shouldn't be shoppin but hey...Self-Christmas! Just got home from the mall and I bought, what're they called? These tan nubuck Skechers, kinda like boots but shoes. At 50% off! Yeah! Anyway, those and the Kelly Clarkson CD cuz Shaun got me an HMV card.

OMG I cannot wear a winter coat in the winter, it's just too warm for me! I didn't wanna take off my jacket in the mall cuz then I'd hafta hold it and it's just too big and puffy that it's a hassle and it's not long enough so that it can fold over your arm so I was dyin. I bought a 6-pack of the lil half-can Pepsi's, hee.

We're gonna go over to Al's later and I'm bringin my Smirnoffs with me. And I dunno how that's gonna work since I'm gonna be drivin :P Guess we'll be stayin a long while til I'm good and sober!

Holy crap, this has been a day. SO! I went to sleep at 7 this morning :P My sister had gotten up for work and she's like, what're you doin up so early?

"I'm goin to bed."
"WHAT?"
"I was doin my hw."
"Nice."

OMG I was doin my essay all night til like 6 am. It was takin longer than I thought cuz it wasn't as long as it was supposed to be and I couldn't come up with good material to pad it up. But I wasn't goin to bed til I was done it cuz I didn't wanna get up still and be finishin it the next morning. I was gonna have it all ready to go and take it to school sometime in the afternoon. I suprisingly wasn't even tired...and I actually wouldn't have done it any other way. Everybody has their methods :P But geez, the footnotes were killin me...that took a damn long time! So I slept til about 11 cuz of the fuckin noise. Oh, I found out what the bangin fuss was. They were fixin the roof! Man, I have no sense of where noise comes from :P And I only found out cuz I saw ladders outside and a crapload of the old shingles in the yard. Nobody tells me anythin. So the roofing guys were at it again this morning and woke me up. I can't take more of this shit, I get heart attacks cuz I hear sudden booms like they were bodyslammin eachother up there so I think somebody fell or somethin. Honestly, I was scared one of them was gonna come crashin down. I'm like, I swear I hear the ceiling crumblin. There's so much bangin and shakin. And they're comin back tomorrow, eesh.

Anyway, I was goin to bed as everyone was goin to work, haha. I got to school around 4, handed my paper in, and dropped off the video. See, the work I did in the past couple days...that's how I justify bein on break for the resta the month now :) I earned it, haha.

I get home and there's nothing to eat and pretty much nothing to make anythin with so I call L and tell her to take me out for dinner, haha. She's like, OK we'll call Vick too. So we ate at Boston Pizza and P called the both of us but we didn't hear our cells. Apparently after our convo last night, P decided we were gonna do somethin tonight cuz we couldn't go out the night before cuz I was doin my essay :P So we picked her up too and went to Q's to see Ian...of course. Then Jay called! Oh my lord, I tell him I can't chill with him cuz I'm doin hw and I'm like, but I'm free after the 9th. He calls me the NIGHT OF. So he's like, what're you doin etc etc and I said he could swing by Q's cuz that's where we'd be. So we all played and whatnot. Tom was there too (guy who flicked my ass a few weeks ago...his name's Tom haha, that's what it is). I think Jay got ever so slightly jealous I was talkin to Tom in the way I was :P Meh! OMG I didn't think I was gonna go right out after I got home from school so I looked like hell anyway. Hello dark circles and bags under my eyes.

We walked over to Timmy's to give P and Ian some time. We were chillin there when these 2 girls came in and nobody was comin to serve them. It's not that unusual for the Timmy's ppl to be in the back late at night but...then they up and went behind the counter and startin gettin their own coffee. We were watchin them and we're like, OK? I'm like, wow that's some balls, haha. They saw us lookin at them and they're like, we both used to work here, it's OK. That was funny. They were takin food and punchin in their order into the register and puttin their money in the drawer from the other side and takin their change, haha. We're like, hey can you bring us a couple donuts too? :) The baker guy came out and they're like, tell your night guy he's doin a crappy job (cuz apparently they all knew eachother), haha.

So that was the adventures of me. I'm done!! I'm gettin wasted this weekend, like you don't even know. I'm clearly not gonna get decent sleep tonight either since I'll be abruptly awakened tomorrow so that's why I'm not botherin to go to bed at a respectable time. Makes sense to me. I'm not even tired! WOOOOOOOO!!!

OK 10:30 am is not the best time to be doin construction work. I woke up to loud bangin noises and I'm like, what is goin ON?? I thought somebody was just bein retarded and movin things around or posibbly power-choppin some rack of meat but it sounded like someone hammerin. The walls were rumblin, that I know for sure. I tried to go back to sleep but who was I kiddin, it was like the Incredible Hulk was tryin to get to my room by bustin thru the walls. I thought it was the bathroom next to my room but I went out to go see but saw no one. But I figured out that it was goin on in the master bedroom. My, how sound travels. Then there was a separate bangin in the room on the other side of my room! I'm like, wtf they're multiplyin. So it was comin at all sides. The light in my ceiling was gettin shook and sounded like it was gonna fall soon. Balls, ppl! I'm not supposed to be cranky the day I'm supposed to get all this work done! I still don't even know who's doin it or whatever is actually bein doin.

And when I say 3 days, I mean 1 :P Still very do-able...not that I have a choice! No worries, it's been done before. What am I sayin? It's how it's ALWAYS been done.

I went to the library today. Of all days when the weather outside is so miserable. The snow was still on the ground and it was rainin. Later in the night, the rain stopped and it wasn't so cold anymore but it got hella windy...like hurricane windy.

So I gave in and paid that $5 library fee. I went to go make my library card (get them to put a bar code on my sessional card :P) and I knew they'd bring up my account and I was all ready to launch into how that video indeed wasn't late, etc etc but then I didn't feel like fightin it at that moment, cuz that girl wasn't the one who was there and I didn't want to make a scene and shit. I woulda at least been like, can I just pay it next time? I don't have cash on me. And that'd be the last time cuz from that point on, if I needed to take out books I'd just use the self-serve machine :P But right now, I needed to take out a video for this essay and she said I couldn't sign out anythin without clearin my fees first. So I did. You don't win, you damn school...I'll contest it, haha.

Anyway, I think I got a lot of research stuff done so I should be good to go on the actual writing of my essay tomorrow. I was flippin thru a book that smelled like someone had dropped it in a toilet. Eesh, not takin that one out.

Yesterday was all about the recovery. I had too much cake, haha. I think it was apple/maple somethin from Shoeless and chocolate mouse/tuffle stuff that I had at home. I didn't even have time for it on Sat with the family. Not that they cared all that much, they knew I was goin out and they understand, haha. We all chatted in the kitchen while we had the cake. I found out so much stuff I never knew about my parents. My dad's awesome :) Very weird mood last night...felt surreal...I think I might be thinkin about grad school again.

I almost forgot Em's bday...but I didn't! Happy bday to that fool...1 day younger than me :)

It REALLY snowed today. Blah. I'll only like it when it's Christmas.

Now I hafta crack down and do some hw this week. 3 days, 12 pages...that's do-able.

So I'm 24 now. Not a big deal but...weird number. 24...it's gonna get some gettin used to. I don't feel like it. I don't think I act it either :P And we all know I don't look it...seein how that woman carded me.

Fri was good times. We went to a sports bar called Hoops and apparently they have karaoke nights and tonight was Hoops Idol semifinals, woohoo. More bar food...me, L, and G ordered diff drinks. I got a Tom Collins, L got an amaretto sour, and G got a kamikaze. When the waitress came back with them, they were all green. It depends on the place you go cuz the bartenders make some drinks differently with what they put in them so like, an amaretto sour can be green or brown, etc. What was weird was that the drinks were all the same exact bright-ass green colour. We thought maybe we had the wrong order. G thought she knew what she was gettin...shows what she knows, the ignorant jackass, haha. I tasted them all and got it sorted out. I dunno if it's the colouring that Hoops puts in their drinks or what.

We bounced from the bar and headed to my place. Drivin home, G got a call from Sarah about this, this, and this story about how they had to change their plans and long story short, her and her friends were crashin at my house too. So I had ppl whose names I didn't even know stayin over. There was a purse, the back of an earring, and a shirt left behind, haha. We slept on the couches and the floor in the living room and Sarah and co. were in the family room (or den as some call it). There was the 'hot room', a late night run to McD's, lots of you-had-to-be-there stuff...

LOL G woke up like she was more wasted than any of us. Her hair was fucked up somethin good and when she sat up, she just fell right over, hahaha. The asses had errands and stuff to do so they got up at 9. I was not a happy camper esp since we went to sleep past 5. I got up to let them out and cleaned up all the shit around the house. Then I went back to bed and slept til 12. I was so out of it...I was talkin to L about some convo and I was like, wait was that this morning??

Sat was so much fun. We went to dinner at Shoeless Joe's and everybody was there except for Al and Mike cuz they got caught up with somethin. Boo at them. You know how you wanna talk to everyone but you can't? That's the only thing I don't like about big groups. And I'm not a fan of bein the centre of attention...esp when ppl who work at the restaurant come out with cake and sing to you! But that was OK, it was a lot tamer than what other places do :P I opened my presents but I couldn't read the cards cuz I was already drinkin and Kim and Cat got me shots so I didn't know what the words said, haha.

A buncha them had hw and studyin and work to deal with so they didn't come to the club. It was me, L, G, Shy, and P who went to Distrikt. It's a nice place but not too better-than-you chi chi like some clubs. We raced to get there before 11 so we didn't have to pay cover, haha. I got us on guest list so we were in in seconds...no line and we got in free :) The music was pretty good too. What happened inside? Guys who can't take a FUCK OFF for an answer, $10 for Red Bull & vodka, and blonde Barbie lesbians. The interesting part wasn't that they were lesbians or they looked like Barbie (I'm not hatin, hey I wouldn't mind lookin like that either...that's how they really looked), it's that they looked identical to EACHOTHER. They were makin out with their mirror images, haha. Oh and the go go dancers...there was 1 at each end of the floor and they came out wearin not much more than tassels on their nips, haha. I dunno what was goin on, they looked like they were in Halloween wigs/Japanese kabuki makeup/drag queen business. We thought they were women...but then they were a bit beefy lookin cuz they just had like these big ribcages and arms...but then they had boobs! Real very womanly boobs! That was a mystery :P Oh the staring Shy did, haha!

It was all a blur. But this was a really good one. I don't think anythin will top last yr's bday but this was def in the top 3 of my life! ;) I can't believe it's come and gone already. I guess I wasn't ready for it or somethin this time around.
