Ahh...another work day checked off. 6 in a row! Finally, an early Fri and an entire Sat freeeeee!

Today was actually not as hectic as I thought it would be...which is just fine by me but not that even mattered cuz I such a short shift. Actually, I stayed an extra hr cuz Paula was supposed to come in and David was gonna be by himself but he needed to go for lunch. Paula did eventually come but way late, haha. I love her tho. It's not like I'd bait her out or be mad at her. We even give eachother commissions on our customer's purchases sometimes, by keyin in the other's employee codes. I gave her have a 1 GB Memory Stick today...which turned out to be like $10! Dammit! Haha. Oh well, she's got a kid and works little enough as it is and I don't really need it cuz it's all spending money anyway, so.

But I wanted to stay longer cuz even tho I had a 3 1/2 hr shift, I had like a 600 somethin dollar sales goal budget for the day. I was like, how the hell am I gonna make that? Esp in the morning! Don't they know how short of a time I'm gonna be here? :P Yeaaah, so I was pressed to ring up sales cuz I just didn't want those numbers makin me look bad. I was tryin to snag anybody...just anybody, haha. So that extra time helped get some purchases in. Then it got crazy busy. The half an hr that David left to go get food and I was on my own was when they all decided to come. But not only did I meet budget, I beat it by a good number. Supastar! Haha.

Thank goodness there wasn't that big snowstorm as everyone was sayin there was gonna be today. It was kinda sunny later on. There were a few inches but gettin to work wasn't too bad. But I was there so early that they hadn't plowed the parkin lot yet and the parkin space lines were covered by snow so I guessed. I got off work and the snow had melted and I was in like, 3 spaces, haha! So bad. In the middle of 2 on the right and left and over the one in front of me :P The lot had filled up by that point and all the cars around me were parked just as retarded cuz they had to accomodate mine, haha. Whatever, not my fault.

So drivin up to the parkin lot, I saw a crowd of ppl standin outside the front of the store. I had no idea what was goin on. I thought we were havin some holiday doorcrasher sale that no one had informed me about. The store hadn't opened yet but they were all waitin at the doors. Turns out we got some more Xbox 360s in. Ridiculous. It was a whole process too, lettin ppl in 2 at a time, all the security precautions, havin alotted tickets...all before 8:30 am. It's just a video game system, ppl! Holy crap.

So later on when I'm workin, Alan in Entertainment comes up to me with a clear tub of nuts (I'm with a customer, we're not in the middle of conversation but I'm right next to him while we're both lookin for the right battery model). I'm like, what is it? Alan's like, cashews. I'm all, why is it green like that? He's like, just try it. I know I should've known better cuz when ppl don't tell you and just pressure you to eat somethin, it can only mean bad things but I just thoughtlessly popped one in my mouth. OMG that was the worst thing ever.

It was WASABI cashews!! Cashews covered in Wasabi...that green Japanese horseradish or whatever that usually comes with sushi...and tastes like hellfire and is just nasty nasty nasty!

Fuckin Alan!! He laughed and ran off. The lil bastard. My face must've been somethin to see. It was so spicy and bad, I just took off runnin to the nearest wastebasket and spat it out. I was like...stuck, cuz I had to have it in my mouth for the 5 seconds til I got to the garbage and I didn't have a water bottle near me to wash out the taste after.

Now that I've regaled you with my work stories, I'm gonna jet and watch TV and/or take a nap. Holla at gettin paid today! Woo!

One more day of morning shift this week and then I get a break!

I don't really even remember what happened at work yesterday but anyway. I'm goin higher than my sales goals every time tho so that's good. And I didn't get any bad customer experiences so that's always a plus.

Except I kinda did today. I hate ppl and them askin for a deal all the time! Cheap bastards! The prices aren't there for you to chop them down, this isn't a flea market haggle! Ugh, I'm not gettin into it. I won't turn this into one of those bitch about your job blogs.

But it's the ppl who work in the store that make it better. Yesterday Evan, L, and Annie were all workin and we all got off around the same time so we went out for 3:00 'lunch' after work...with our matchin black shirts and khaki pants, haha. That was good times. I was so hungry cuz I hadn't eaten anythin the whole day except for one and a half Twix bars that I desperately scored from the vending machine.

I've rediscovered the signifigance of naps after I come home from work. Good god, I wasn't meant for early nights and early mornings.

Uhhh...my brain's kind of on slow-mo right now so I can't think of anythin else to write about. It snowed a lot today. A few of us FS'ers were supposed to hit the bar or somethin tonight but I dunno if that's gonna happen still.

In the meantime, I'll go watch my DVD of The Fifth Element. Or sleep. Bye!

Well yesterday and today were eventful!

I don't really wanna get into what happened yesterday cuz if it were up to me, it would never have gone down cuz I was fine with lettin it be. It was one of those things that needed to happen in some ways but still...would rather have gone on without even thinkin about it twice. I know that's all very cryptic but anyway.

Whatever, we were at Shoeless Joe's last night and Leafs won and that's the last of that.

Oh and Darien also called me from England. I just got his Christmas card in the mail. I didn't think the postal time thru and sendin anythin now most likely won't make it to him in time.

So today at the morning meeting at work, the managers closed with sayin that the areas around Mobile Audio needed coverage cuz there's no one in...Shane and the other kid whose name I don't remember don't work at the store anymore! And it was said in that tone where you can tell that they were let go/fired. Everyone was like, wha?? They said they couldn't discuss the details so we all knew it was somethin scandalous. Most ppl guessed that they had stolen stuff but I really don't think Shane would do that. He had told me that he had quit school so now he could change his availability since he could work any hrs. He was already plannin on quittin school but if he did steal stuff from the store...during the Christmas season!...then that would be the dumbest move ever cuz now he doesn't even have the job. And I was just talkin to the both of them yesterday while we were all workin. Me and Shane and Dini were all supposed to go drinkin one night. That sucks. Everybody's gossiping about it and nobody knows what the real reason was.

So after work today, me and L went to Pickering Town Centre to shop and VJ (from the store) jokingly knocks into us. I told him about Shane and the other guy. He's higher up than us and he didn't know the downlow either but he said he'd try to find out. Man, I really wanna know...too bad I don't even have Shane's number.

Anyway, I didn't buy anythin so poops to that. We went to 2 malls and nuthin. L did decide spontaneously to go get a wash, cut, and style at the salon tho...makin me wait for her ass for like half an hr.

I kinda fell asleep sittin in the waitin area chair. Gettin up at 7:30, I tell ya. Me and Evan were both scheduled to open this morning and of course, when I have someone else with me, it's calm and quiet. Holy crap, it was completely dead not only in our dept but the entire store. We were so bored and concerned about havin no sales.

Then the lunch hr crowd came in. Oh lawd. I was kinda sorry I asked for some business, haha. But it was good, I met my sales budget for the day...actually, doubled it I think. I mean, I did only have a 3 and a half hr shift which doesn't give me a lotta time to sell anythin. I was runnin back and forth from our area to the front of the store over and over. Crazy. I stayed an extra hr cuz ppl just kept comin at me and you're not supposed to just jet when it's busy like that but try to help out if you can. I think I hurt my shoulder from haulin a printer around :P There was a Hell's Angel in lookin at an SLR camera, haha.

Tomorrow I'm 8:30-3 so it's actually a full shift. Please don't let me get any fuckers or sour-faced rude ass customers who are just lookin anyway.

I'm not dead. Tho I wish for it sometimes at work...I'm like, I just want to DIE! Haha. No, not really.

Oh god, it's just been work all the time. I'm there 5 days a week. Fuck, I've got the opening shift from Mon to Fri...8 frickin 30 each morning. But that's why I actually have the time to blog right now cuz I'm done earlier. I had lunch with Godwin a couple hrs ago while he was on break and I was off. We had KFC, and I'm still full.

I almost slept in today. I dunno why since I went to sleep at midnight so I got my 8 hrs! I fuckin hate alarm clocks...WHY is there a PM option!?! Yeah I know, it's my own fault for settin it wrong like a dumbass.

At least I didn't have to shovel the driveway this time. I woke up the other day to a big blanket of snow and I was like, irk! I didn't wanna be late for work so I had to shovel quick as a bitch and I kinda hurt a muscle in my shoulder, haha. But holy crap, me and Dini (this other new girl in the store) were talkin and we're like, let's see what FREAKS are gonna go shoppin at 9 am on a Fri in the middle of this snow crap. Sure enough there were some.

Me of all ppl...gettin the early shifts. That's ironic. I was so tired the other day. I was goin on 5 hrs of sleep, 2 days in a row. I had to take a nap in the evening. I don't think I've done that since school.

Anyway, what else has been goin on...goin to the bars, The Honest Lawyer and BP and such. I think I went to the mall. I bought a Diesel top. It's so rare to go shoppin now cuz I usually work weekends and miss out sales :S But seems like I'm off on Saturdays now.

But this Sat night, me, Vick, and Alex went over to L's. We watched the Leafs game, ate pizza, and re-watched Dodgeball but really we were there to drink, haha. My big bottle of Absolut Vanilla's finished and the whole 2L thing of Pepsi I just bought at Shopper's was gone too.

And it was retarded that I got Sat off but still had work on Sun on my bday but had a later Sun shift the week after that when I wasn't out partyin it up. Oh yeah! So my bday last week...

That Sat we basically went to The Keg for dinner and clubbin at Level. Fish and her crew went skating at Nathan Philips Square before dinner then The Bier Markt after. Oh man, walkin in the cold to the restaurant while L and Al waited for tables, stoppin in a Pizza Pizza for half an hr, 'doin drugs' in the washroom downstairs haha, waitin with everybody for 2 hrs to get tables for all of us, a waitress with attitude, bday cake, missin guest list at the club. Good times. A bunch of us came clubbin and the hrs just flew by. Came across some interesting ppl. Some drunk fool tried to dance with P and she didn't want to but she did it pretty politely but he got upset or whatever (I didn't see any of this) and chucked his beer at her. He got her a bit on the shirt and soaked the back of L's pant legs. But what was so poetic justice was later on in the night, I saw him tussle with some other guy. They were on the dance floor and we were upstairs overlookin the floor so I saw the whole thing. They did that 'startin to square off' thing, then the other guy punched the idiot good and he hit the floor. There was a lot of commotion but I saw him get dragged out as he was still on the ground, haha. None of the other girls saw this so I'm like, L! That guy who got beer on you got punched the fuck out! I got it all with my digital camera too :P Then there were like 2 more fights after that. Crazy. Good thing we were one floor up.

There was some other stuff that went down but I'm keepin this short-ish and drama-free so I won't go into that, esp since I don't care enough anymore about it to spend my thoughts on it.

Yeah, so then I had to go to work the next morning at 11. Balls. It was pretty good tho. Everybody in the store said happy birthday to me :) And it wasn't a particularily bad day, selling and customer-wise. Then I went to dinner with my parents and my brother.

Got pretty good presents from everybody...DVDs, a jacket, a belt, gift card and such, a Puma bag, underwear, haha. And Darien sent me a card and a lil wind-up penguin toy that waddles, hee! I told him not to buy me anythin cuz it maddens me when he spends unnecessarily so he actually obeyed this time :P

In other news, I'm makin kickass commissions and I met Joey Jeremiah! Yup, that guy from the classic "Degrassi" shows! Haha. I don't actually know his real name...Pat somethin. He's really short in person, like as tall as me maybe. He came in the store, which is bizzare cuz I don't have any idea what he'd be doin in this area just shoppin for electronics.
