My blog is 3 yrs old today! :)

Wow...I've been doin this for 3 yrs. That's a lotta shit about my life. It's fun to go back and read the stuff that happens every yr around the same time tho.

You know what's sad? Since I don't have the disposable income, I don't go out as much anymore. Esp since I have work to go to, like in the mornings and therefore not bein able to stay out really late the night before. I'm just waitin to get paid. I guess I don't even really mind stayin in sometimes cuz it saves money :P

Tonight's excitement was goin to Timmy's with Al and L. Jokes tho...all about G, haha.

2-6 tomorrow. I should really find out how much we get paid for training.

It's P's bday tomorrow...well, technically today. I don't think she's doin anythin tho. Probably somethin with Mario. I dunno, none of us hardly even see her anymore. But I'll call her, see if she wants to roll by tomorrow night cuz L and Al are gonna. It'll be a before/during/after the Leafs game.

I completely didn't realize it was Thurs today :P You'd think I'd know esp since I need to pay attention to what day it s when I go into work. On that note, no training til Sat. Couple days off is nice, back to the good ol' days of doin nuthin...or goin out, whichever I happen to prefer.

Leafs lost by 1 tonight. That sucked. It just hurts me when they're leadin and then it ends up in a loss. Boo.

I watched Closer a few days ago. It was good. A really talky movie, but not what I was expecting. Sometimes the stuff the characters were sayin just didn't make sense...like, who talks like that, really? But sometimes I knew exactly what they meant. Anyway, I just hafta say, what an incestual group that was :P 4 ppl and they all cheated with eachother, then got back together, then cheated again, etc.

Hmmm...maybe I should write about somethin slightly more interesting than work. Oh yeah, so that near-accident the day of L's bday party. I had to drive my brother to and from tae kwon do class that Sat and I had to get L's present still (long story, I'll get into that when I post about that entire day). So I was on my way to Future Shop to get her a DVD. I was drivin and it's a stretch of straight road with a small intersection comin up on the right where the houses are. That street has a stop sign and you can only turn left or right. There was a car there. I had the right of way obviously, cuz I had no stop sign. I justifiably assumed that that car was gonna wait there til it was clear for them to go. NO. There is absolutely nothing blockin their view, unless you are blind, you can clearly see my big black car barreling down the street. For some reason, this woman didn't. Or she did and decided to go anyway. She comes out and makes a left turn right into my path. WHAT THE FUCK IS SHE DOIN??? She makes the turn just as I'm about to reach the intersection and we're just about to hit eachother. I brake and steer left like a madwoman. Any closer and I would've at least clipped her car for sure. I was even bracin for the impact, cuz I dunno, my brain works like that. I thought we were gonna hit. The street is 4 lanes, 2 goin north and 2 south. I was in the left north lane and she made me swerve into right south lane (oncomin traffic). Thank goodness there were no other cars. Then I swerved back into my lane. The woman didn't even pull over to see if everythin was OK. I slowed down to the curb and stopped to look in my rearview and the car was pretty much already on its way gone. Oh my freakin lord. I didn't even have the chance to honk cuz I was too busy steering outta the way. I'm not a road rage-y person. I'm even the one who tells L to calm down and just let the person go and whatever. I hate ppl who lean on their horns, like RELAX. But damn, it bugged me so much that I didn't get to honk at this bitch. She cannot keep drivin on all la-di-da after somethin like that. I hope to god that she knew what a dangerous, dumbass thing she did. I woulda swore up and down and screamed at her down the street if I could've. It all happened so fast but at the same time it was like slow motion. I remember seein her face as she was makin the turn right in front of me and and saw my car and her face was surprised and like she couldn't believe there was a car comin down at her...even tho she was fuckin GOIN WHEN IT WASN'T CLEAR. Honestly, why are you allowed to drive?? Like, I'd understand maybe it was a judgement call if I was some metres down the street but I was pretty much 2 seconds away from passin her. Geezus. I really didn't need that shit. Gotta say tho, pretty impressed with my instinctive skills ;)

So that was that. Fuckin crazy woman. Still bugs me.

4-7 today. And the time totally flew by too. Half an hr of waitin til any manager came in to tell us what we were doin. Then we basically sat in the office and listened to the operations manager talk for an hr and a half. Got more things ticked off on the task chart so the training seems to be finishing up soon-ish. Then we followed VJ on how to do point-of-sales at the cash. Then we were left on our own and were supposed to watch the guy on cash and see what he was doin but you can only watch so long and plus, he was pretty much standin around anyway. The boys went off to find products and keyed them into the computer to see how much of an employee discount they'd get, haha. We milled around til 7:00 came around just so we can say we stayed til 7 :P Easiest 3 hrs of "work" ever. And they don't even care. Beautiful.

November, November. A new month of bdays. I swear, I work to buy presents! :P

I was in training for an extra half an hr...but it's OK cuz I finished my stuff early and pretty much fucked around for about 45 mins :) Sweet. Read the paper, had a snack, played Xbox, tried to log onto MSN :P But I can't believe I was doin product knowledge reading and written activities for like 4 hrs! The last hr, Lenny and the other kid came in and we all did a PSP and LPG discussion with the manager. Everybody who came into the break room was like, still readin? How's it goin? Haha. Annie was workin too so we chatted for a bit. Actually not a bad 6 somethin hrs. I just hafta rely on my brain to absorb and keep all the information.

Well I didn't have to be in for work today :) I did get the email tho...11-5 tomorrow and 4-7 Wed. 6 hrs tomorrow?? And I saw that everybody else had less hrs than me that day. What am I gonna be trainin for 6 hrs by myself?? Crap.

At least I got yesterday and today off, cuz I think I would've gone crazy if I had worked any more days in a row.

I wanted to go out with my brother and his friends to go trick-or-treating, haha. L came over when kids were hittin my house and she's like, yeah can we go with you? Ask your friends if we can come! Haha. But we ended up watchin The Amityville Horror and then goin to Shoeless Joe's to watch the rest of the Leafs game. No more drinkin the night before work :P At least they won vs. Florida.

These 2 guys at the other table near us had a staring problem, my god. I mean it wasn't even subtle or disguised. Well the one guy was doin it then his friend started too. I'm talkin 'head turned all the way around, what else could they be lookin at' kind of staring. Like the ENTIRE time we were there. It was creepy but then it was pretty funny too cuz we had to avoid his direction but you can feel eyeballs on you and there was really nowhere to look but stare at the TVs. L's like, it's like they've never seen women watch a hockey game. I said, it's like they've never seen a woman before, period. I was like, do you have a problem? What're you lookin at? But I don't think they heard. Weirdos.

Happy Halloween!!

Man, I was hurtin yesterday. I woke up with all kinds of stiff muscles and back pain like I had been in a mosh pit. It's not like I went insane on Sat night tho. But I did go to sleep around 5, haha. I cut my nails all nice and studied my sales associate training book yesterday tho! I'm a good girl.

Sat was fun. I love Halloween! We saw the funniest costumes, it was ridiculous. Lemme try to remember...gum under the table, a penis, sushi rolls, a caveman, crossdressers, Bender from the show "Futurama", superheroes, Peewee Herman, army ppl, cops, pilots, Zorro, the usual slutty girl versions of every outfit, a white trash dude with this huge fake gut hangin out from the bottom of his wifebeater, and some guy wearin an attack-dog jumper with lil stuffed doggies stuck all over him, haha!

We went to Fez cuz that's where Al was headin after a party and we were meetin up with L's CS girls Annie and Shirley too. And it was Al's friend Conrad's bday there, he was dressed up as fat Elvis - so awesome! Al came as Alice in Horrorland (or Whoreland, haha). She had the Alice in Wonderland dress but it was torn and had blood all over, with a cute stuffed bunny that had its throat slit :P

The line was so long. Then cover was $15, fuck. It was packed inside too. But good times were had. I laughed so much that night. Ji-larious.

Some guy passed out on the sidewalk while we were waitin outside. He just fell on the ground and his friends and ppl around him were seein if he was OK cuz he wasn't movin. His eyes were open but he kept lyin there. We were like, OMG don't tell me he's dead. But he was just drunk or whatever and got up again.

We also saw some guy standin on the corner of the intersection, leanin on the lightpost. He was on his cell talkin when he leaned over and puked. Agh! I saw it all happen. All over the sidewalk where ppl were goin. It was chunky too :S Ewwww. And we kept watchin whoever stepped in it, haha. We would've told them to watch out but we were too far away. The guy was still standin there the whole time too. Damn, he was wasted. And by himself.

Shit, when we were comin home there were a lot of cop cars blockin off the street and the entrances to the plaza nearby. L figured they were lookin for somebody. There was nothing down the street except for one car that looked like it just stopped in the middle of comin out of the plaza. You know somethin bad happened. Then I heard from the news that the person in the car died. Apparently they were stabbed or shot down the block, a few streets away from mine, then the person's friend tried to drive for help but hit some trees and a boulder and the hurt guy died at the hospital. I saw the picture in the paper. The driver side door of the car was bashed in. We didn't see that cuz the passenger side was facin the street when we were drivin by. That's freaky.

And here I am worryin about if I had to come in for training today :P I didn't get an email so I emailed the manager back but I didn't get anythin back yet. Someone had called in the morning but I was still half-asleep and didn't pick up. I think I was kinda scared that they'd be callin me cuz I was supposed to be in but I didn't get no email! So when the phone rang later on, I went to pick it up but it was just Pris askin if I had a Dr. Seuss hat :P WTF, Pris. I'm now contemplating whether I should call the store. Blah.
