11 am? Yeah it's one of those random days again when I wake up earlier than usual for no apparent reason. I was actually up at 9 and then I caught Mix 99.9 on the radio sayin they were gonna do a Avril Lavigne concert ticket giveaway after the 9 at 9. Now Mix isn't exactly an 'Avril type' station, they play some top 40, some rock, some retro oldies/office listening music what-have-you, so I was thinkin most of the teeny boppers wouldn't be likely to be hearin this. The DJ said to listen to all the songs they play and call in after. I listened thru all those songs in a last desperate hope of scoring tix cuz I'm dumbass and waited for some reason (had to find someone to come with me, $$, had to get floors, etc.). The DJ was lookin for song #5 which was "Cool" by Gwen Stefani. Not onl;y did I not get thru, it was some fob who not only called the song "Cold" but also couldn't even pronounce Stefani like they had never heard of her and had to spell it out!

Anyway, doesn't matter. I kept tryin and tryin online at Ticketmaster to see if they'd put any last min seats up and finally a couple Floors came up. I got so excited and wasted no time confirming and buyin. Then I just had to get a hold of P and let her know she's goin to the show tomorrow :P I haven't talked to her all week and I was 100% sure she had forgotten about the whole idea so I called her cell. She called me back while she was still in class and I said, just don't even tell me you're doin somethin tomorrow night cuz you're comin to the concert with me. She did have other plans but she cancelled them cuz tough shit, I bought them already. So I am goin to the Avril show, booyah! :D Those tickets went quick cuz I only bought the 2 and when I tried again just to check, it was all unavailable again.

Happy day to me. Well, Darien left for BC today. We got to chat online for a while and swap pix from last night tho. I can't believe he flopped out on me yesterday. He had one drink! He was all talk about goin toe to toe with me but then bowled more than he imbibed. Still, he ended up suckin it up large the last couple games sober, haha. I didn't play cuz I usually hurt my arm or thumb so I thought I'd have more fun watchin. I spilled beer on my camera tho, nice. Actually, we all spilled our bottles at some point during the night :P And still we didn't think to NOT put the bottles on the same table as the cameras.

Me, Al, Dar, and Pris met up with L and G there and all had a wicked time. Cosmic bowling, fun with screen names, liquor...it's all good. There was the sweetest, nicest old lady workin behind the bar! But she was also the kind of grandma who'd yell, "WHAT the hell are you doin!" when someone bowled down the lane when the pin guard was still down, ha.

Too bad they closed at midnight. They bowled like madppl til the time was up, haha. We coulda went on for a while. Oh and there's just one pic I hafta share....
